Sharing a Lifelong Love of Baking and Cooking
Hi! I’m Ellie
I’m a stay at home mom of three, recipe developer, and the creator behind The Kitchen Notebook.
My love for cooking started when I was nine years old. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for cooking and baking. The kitchen became my favorite place to learn, create, and share food with the people I love.
Today, I spend my days cooking for my husband and children, testing recipes, and developing new ideas for the blog. Some of my favorite memories have been made around the table, and I believe food has a special way of bringing people together.
The Kitchen Notebook is my place to collect and share recipes that have earned a permanent spot in my kitchen. Here you’ll find blondies, cookies, dessert bars, sweet empanadas, and family favorites. You’ll also find recipes inspired by classic flavors, everyday baking, and the occasional creative twist.
I believe great recipes start with strong fundamentals. I respect the ingredients, pay attention to the details, and never stop learning. Every recipe is carefully tested so you can make it with confidence in your own kitchen.
Many of the recipes on this site are inspired by family traditions and the flavors I grew up enjoying. Others come from my love of experimenting and creating something new. No matter where a recipe begins, my goal is always the same: to create something delicious that’s worth making again and again.
My hope is that The Kitchen Notebook feels like a well loved recipe journal filled with trusted recipes, helpful tips, and plenty of inspiration.
Whether you’re here for Raspberry Lemonade Blondies, CafĂ© con Leche Blondies, or a tray of Sweet Empanadas, I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome to The Kitchen Notebook.
